2020-Present
two lives was founded in London by creatives Niklas Vila Karpe and Tina Lilienthal with the aim to address the vast amount of waste being created by the fashion industry, which today is the world’s second largest polluter. According to Fashion Revolution an estimated 92 million tons of textile waste is created annually, and every second the equivalent of one garbage truck of textiles is landfilled or burned globally. Having seen wasteful practices first hand at factories worldwide it is our mission to give textile waste a second life by reusing and upcycling textile leftovers, reprocessing unsold stock, and eliminating deadstock.

where we experiment
It’s our brand DNA/identity. Here we experiment with new concepts, materials and processes creating small capsule collections. These collections act as our catwalk and concepts tested here trickle down into the consultancy and to our corporate clients.

where you come play with us
We collaborate with brands that want to explore responsible practices. Through a joint discovery process we co-create in line with each brand’s ethos and applying our expertise. We develop new sustainable solutions for brand apparel based on our findings in two lives lab.

where we do it for you
We work with corporate clients delivering projects that address the re-use and upcycling of waste materials and the reprocessing of unsold stock into new products. We use responsibly produced textiles and manufacture using renewable energy in order to create garments with a low carbon footprint.
